Synth Riders has welcomed alien adversaries aiming to disrupt your high scores with the latest ‘Challenges+’ update.
This free update is now available for the Quest, PC VR, and PlayStation VR2 platforms and introduces extraterrestrial entities that interfere with your gameplay. They achieve this by employing various tactics such as making on-screen notes vanish or alter their colors. According to Kluge Interactive, players can use Power-Ups that were previously utilized against opponents in multiplayer matches, allowing for engaging asynchronous Challenges.
Additionally, players will face ‘Invaderz’, aliens that launch missiles at you, requiring you to either dodge or punch them for survival. The gameplay speed is increased by ‘Warp’, while ‘Embiggen’ and ‘Minimize’ modify the note sizes to make them larger or smaller, respectively. The ‘Prismatic’ effect activates the prismatic modifier, transforming the notes into vibrant rainbows. Lastly, ‘Random Colors’ complicates the game by mixing four different colors, adding to the challenge.
The new Challenges+ update for Synth Riders is accessible now on the Meta Quest, Steam, and PlayStation VR2 platforms.
