The main event will be available via a free online livestream, with an exclusive in-person “special event” taking place at Apple Park.
Apple initially introduced visionOS and the Vision Pro headset during WWDC 23. A year later, at WWDC 24, visionOS 2 was unveiled along with the first beta launch.
Recently, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman indicated that visionOS 3, likely to be showcased at WWDC 25, would offer a “feature-packed release”.
While specific features for visionOS 3 remain undisclosed, Gurman has previously shared that Apple and Sony are collaborating to incorporate PlayStation VR2 Sense controller support with the Vision Pro. He reaffirmed this information last month.
In April, just two months prior to WWDC25, Apple is poised to release visionOS 2.4. This update will include Apple Intelligence, a Spatial Gallery app, an iPhone app for remote installations, and a new guest flow powered by iPhone/iPad.
