April is here, bringing with it an exciting array of new VR games. Here’s a round-up of the noteworthy titles to watch out for this month.
As March draws to a close, the VR gaming landscape has been bustling with new releases. While we are finalizing our reviews of Hitman World of Assassination, Lovesick, and Train Sim World VR: New York, we’ve already completed reviews of Mythic Realms, Pixel Dungeon, and Rogue Piñatas: VRmageddon. Additionally, we explored Symphoni, Path of Fury, and Boxed Out, among other recent launches like Sword Reverie and StellarPlans.
This April may be a bit calmer, but it still features several compelling games. We will keep this list updated as we receive more information. Below are some of the major releases making their way to VR platforms this month, with additional insights available through our ongoing upcoming VR games compendium. We also plan to highlight significant updates for existing titles as they come to light.

Pinball FX VR – April 3 (Quest)
Crafted by Zen Studios, Pinball FX VR offers a distinct experience compared to its original 2023 flatscreen counterpart. The VR version introduces a revamped environment and a campaign mode where players unlock new rewards through missions. Engage in fun mini-games like darts and utilize interactive gadgets. The mixed reality feature allows users to project virtual pinball machines into their surroundings, and it includes online leaderboards for competitive play.

Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate – April 3 (PS VR2, Quest)
Mighty Eyes is revamping the 2022 time-travel adventure title with Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate. Players take on the role of Asher Neumann in this title, solving escape room-style puzzles while journeying through various historical eras with the assistance of a watch companion. With enhanced visuals, physics-based gameplay, and expanded levels, this remake promises an enriched experience, although a PC VR release date has yet to be announced.
BEATABLE – April 10 (Quest)
BEATABLE introduces a unique mixed reality rhythm game that aims to tackle the significant challenges of hand tracking. Launching this month in early access from XR Games (Starship Troopers: Continuum), in collaboration with VR creator Naysy, this title transforms your table into a musical instrument featuring online leaderboards for song competitions.

Resist – April 10 (PS VR2)
Originally released in 2021, Resist from The Binary Mill is a dystopian action RPG engaging players in a rebellion against an oppressive regime. As new resistance member Sam Finch, players will work to liberate the city of Concord from the clutches of the Astra Corporation through a narrative-driven campaign.
Eggy – April 17 (Quest 3)

Developed by Spunge Games, Eggy is a whimsical mixed reality pet simulator where players raise their very own dragon. Starting your journey at home, players discover a glowing egg through a mysterious book and are responsible for nurturing their dragon through various activities like feeding and playtime.

Elements Divided – April 23 (PC VR, Quest)
In Elements Divided, developed by Loco Motion and published by Fast Travel Games, players will channel the powers of earth, water, fire, and air as Elementalists. The game offers solo modes battling AI opponents, online player-versus-player combat, and co-op survival modes, all while engaging in tournaments and challenges across diverse arenas.
Ghost Town – April 24 (Quest)
Ghost Town is the latest venture from UK-based Fireproof Games, creators of The Room VR: A Dark Matter. This title, set in the 1980s, follows a ghost-hunting witch named Edith Penrose, who operates a paranormal investigation agency alongside her roommate in London. A PC and PS VR2 version is set to release later this year.
Vertigo 2: Into The Aether – April 25 (PC VR)
Vertigo 2: Into The Aether is not an entirely new game; it’s a DLC expansion for our 2023 VR Game of the Year, where players follow protagonist Brian as he confronts the Void Delegation. Although the original game is also available on PS VR2, there are currently no plans for this DLC to make its way to Sony’s platform.

Alex and the Jets – April 2025 (Quest 3)
HOOP-O Studios introduces Alex and the Jets, their first mixed reality project that transforms a player’s environment into an immersive battlefield in a casual-arcade flight simulator. Taking on the role of Alex the Squirrel, players will navigate their space piloting a plane while battling various adversaries and overcoming unique obstacles.

Honey Pot – April 2025 (Quest)
Honey Pot, the latest creation from VRMonkey, is a cooperative tower defense game where players defend a beehive from elemental bears through aerial combat and powerful towers. The studio indicated that its early access will arrive later this month.

Poly Ego – April 2025 (Pico, PSVR)

Now in early access since 2023, Poly Ego is a vibrant adventure puzzle title from Poly Tool Design where players tackle challenges alongside a robot companion while controlling dual characters. An upcoming update on April 4 will introduce co-op puzzles, followed by a 5v5 shooter mode slated for May. The developer noted plans to launch on PlayStation VR and Pico this month.
Silent North – April 2025 (PC VR, Quest)
Silent North, crafted by Combat Waffle Studios (Ghosts of Tabor, GRIM) and published by Beyond Frames Entertainment, is a PvPvE VR shooter set amid the striking Alps. Players must navigate a chilling winter setting while combating both the undead and rival survivors as they seek to gather limited resources and endure.
The Obsessive Shadow — April 2025 (PSVR, PS VR2)
Asi Games Technologies presents The Obsessive Shadow, a horror experience where players step into the shoes of a 9-year-old boy left alone in an eerie house, navigating a labyrinth with only a flashlight for guidance. The game includes support for both the original PSVR and PlayStation VR2, following its recent launch on Quest and Steam.

Under The Pillow – April 2025 (PC VR, Quest)
Under The Pillow: Kitten Mormitten offers more of an interactive VR movie experience rather than a traditional game. Currently available for Quest and Pico, the story features a handmade toy on a mission to help children navigate difficult times. The developer has shared plans to launch on Steam and the Quest Store later this month.
