Today, Vivo introduced its new headset, and it bears a striking resemblance to the Apple Vision Pro.
While other devices like those from Samsung and Play For Dream MR show some influence from the Apple Vision Pro, the Vivo Vision is bordering on outright imitation. From its grey textile facial interface to the rear strap, external battery, and connector, the design appears almost identical to Apple’s helmet. Even the name “Vision” seems borrowed. The only significant design divergence is the side arms, which feature a metallic finish rather than the white plastic used in Apple’s offering.
Details regarding Vivo Vision’s specifications or functionality have yet to be revealed. Currently, all we have is the name and a glimpse of the design. Additionally, no press members or influencers have been given the opportunity to experience a hands-on demo, leaving uncertainty about whether a working prototype is available.

The Vivo Vision’s visor does seem sleeker compared to the Apple Vision Pro, potentially indicating a lighter design, though it remains to be seen if this advantage will carry through to the final product.
Vivo has stated its intention to release the Vivo Vision in “mid-2025.” However, they have not confirmed whether the device will be available outside of China. We will continue to monitor Vivo for additional information regarding the headset in the upcoming weeks and months.
