The arcade racing title Exer Gale is set to enter Early Access on the Quest platform in June.
Crafted by Chark Studio, Exer Gale serves as an engaging flight simulator that invites players to soar through the skies like a bird. As you navigate through vibrant 3D landscapes, dodging airborne obstacles, you accumulate points that will be showcased on a worldwide leaderboard. In addition to its racing mode, Exer Gale provides a tranquil mode, allowing players to explore the sky at a leisurely pace without the stress of competition. Take a look at some gameplay footage below:
“[Exer Gale] has been in development for several years and has changed directions a few times,” noted Chark Studio in an official statement. “However, the core experience remains unchanged – to fly, glide, and dive using your hands as wings. There are no buttons involved – only controller and body movements.”
In their press announcement, the developers also revealed that a multiplayer mode is currently in progress and will be available on Quest headsets at launch. This addition will bring gameplay enhancements and new cosmetic features, with plans to complete the game later this year and expand it to additional VR platforms.
Exer Gale will launch on Quest in June, with plans to follow on other VR platforms such as Steam in the future.
