The haunting experience of Phasmophobia is set to launch its first event of the year on Steam and PlayStation VR2 next week.
Kinetic Games has announced that the inaugural event, titled Cursed Hollow, will expand the ghost-hunting mechanics of the base game by introducing a spooky Easter theme. Beginning April 17, players brave enough to hunt for Jackalope totems will explore nine maps adorned with seasonal decorations, including the recently enhanced Bleasdale Farmhouse.

This new event will span three weeks, allowing players to complete both Personal and Community objectives to unlock themed rewards.
“We’ve made some changes this year following direct feedback from our previous events; from the new reward split, to some interesting new gameplay modifiers,” expressed Daniel Knight, Kinetic Games Lead Developer and Director, in an official statement.

This event is part of Kinetic Games’ 2025 roadmap for Phasmophobia, which includes plans for additional events around Halloween and the 2025 Holiday season. The roadmap also details an update to Grafton Farmhouse, the introduction of a new small map, and significant gameplay adjustments to evidence collection known as ‘Chronicle,’ alongside a character model overhaul.
The Cursed Hollow event for Phasmophobia kicks off on April 17, and will be accessible on Steam and PlayStation VR2.
