Today, the Viking rhythm game Ragnarock introduces a new Alestorm Music Pack, bringing pirate metal into the mix.
Developed by WanadevStudio (known for Propagation: Paradise Hotel), Ragnarock immerses players in a metal-laden rhythm experience, where they can play drums to the beat while maneuvering a Viking longship. The latest update, revealed during the recent Ruff Talk VR Showcase, expands the game’s diverse range of downloadable content (DLC) with two fresh packs: the Alestorm Music Pack and a Pirate Skin Pack.
The Alestorm Music Pack includes six tracks from the renowned pirate metal band, which has been captivating fans since 2004 with their unique blend of heavy metal and festive rock shanties. The songs featured in the Alestorm DLC are:
- Keelhauled
- Drink
- P.A.R.T.Y
- Shipwrecked
- Treasure Chest Party Quest
- Alestorm

The Pirate Skin Pack also brings exciting new cosmetic options, including:
- Pirate Skeleton Body
- Pirate Beard & Hair
- Pirate Clothes
- Pirate Hammer
- Pirate Boat
With the release of the Alestorm and Pirate Skin Pack DLCs, this marks the first paid content update for Ragnarock in 2023. While free songs have been added since, the previous DLC, featuring Jonathan Young, launched in late 2023. Although the packs are releasing together, they will be available for purchase separately.
The Alestorm and Pirate Skin DLCs can be accessed today on Steam, Quest, PS VR2, Pico, and Viveport.
