Now available on all platforms, players can select ‘New Game+’ from the main menu after they finish the campaign with this significant update. This feature allows you to carry over all unlocked abilities, hero weapons, collectibles, and health/stamina enhancements into a new journey.
“New Game Plus has been one of the most requested features from the community, and we’re super happy that we can finally release it to you,” a representative from the studio expressed in a statement.
In addition to this new mode, Skydance Games highlighted several visual enhancements with the update. Improvements include better fidelity and responsiveness in the game’s severing system, optimized visuals for strength activation, refined hand grip accuracy, and more. Detailed PC VR patch notes can be found here, with further updates for Quest and other platforms available on the official Discord server.
This update marks the third significant enhancement for Skydance’s Behemoth since its launch last December. The developers have promised additional upgrades in future updates, although specifics are yet to be disclosed. Notably, the game’s Arena Mode is still in beta testing.
The earlier patches primarily focused on comprehensive bug fixes. The first patch was released just a week after launch, addressing over 1,000 Quest-related issues and making adjustments to the stamina mechanics. The second patch built on this foundation by improving environmental visuals and enhancing grabbing and climbing mechanics.
Skydance’s Behemoth is currently available on the Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, Steam, and Rift.
