Announced during the UploadVR Winter Showcase last December, Vertigo 2: Into the Aether serves as an expansion for our 2023 VR Game of the Year. Players will assist Brian in combating the Void Delegation while utilizing exciting new features like “The Void Grappler,” a grappling hook that can attach to various surfaces for dynamic movement, as well as “The Void Deflector,” which aids in reflecting attacks and gathering energy for counterattacks.
For those seeking more insight, Tsiakalis-Brown conducted a Q&A session in January following a comprehensive interview in December. This discussion covered his motivations for remastering Vertigo, future expectations, experiences at Valve, and additional topics, which you can view below.
Vertigo 2: Into the Aether is set to launch on April 25 on SteamVR. The base game is currently available. While Vertigo 2 is also accessible on PlayStation VR2, there are no current plans to release this DLC for Sony’s headset.
