Path of Fury, a thrilling martial arts experience in virtual reality, has just rolled out its full support for bHaptics on the Quest platform.
Released earlier this month, Path of Fury: Episode I – Tetsuo’s Tower offers a fast-paced arcade VR experience inspired by the works of Wong Kar-wai and the intense action of The Raid: Redemption. Developed by Leonard Menchiari, this update includes comprehensive bHaptics integration, enabling feedback through their Vest, Arms, and Visor devices for an enhanced sensory experience.

In conjunction with this update, two new competitive challenges have been introduced, running until April 20 and April 27, respectively. The first challenge involves achieving the highest kill count across any of the infinite arena stages, while the second challenge is executed in collaboration with the video-sharing platform Rival.
Overall, our recent impressions of Path of Fury’s inaugural episode highlighted its engaging rhythm-based combat, which “delivers a familiar but refreshing greeting,” wrapping its combat mechanics in layers of fantasy “with elegance.”
Saying that Path of Fury doesn’t offer anything novel would be a disservice. When you’re in the swing of things, its blood-pumping fantasy excels, but it’s also not wrong to see it as yet another iteration on existing ideas. It’s a game that demands confidence in your skills to succeed, even if you can feel a sense of hesitation in pushing beyond the current norm of VR gaming in the walls of every room of the skyscraper.
Path of Fury – Episode I: Tetsuo’s Tower is currently available for $10 on the Meta Quest platform.
