The inaugural hotfix for Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate has been released.
Following its recent launch on Quest and PlayStation VR2, developer Mighty Eyes announced that this update aims to enhance “stability and address some significant issues.” Key modifications include preventing players from being pushed backward after specific collisions, fixing a hand spinning glitch when holding certain objects, various fixes for Echo Diviner, restoring absent assets in several levels, among other improvements.

A subsequent hotfix for Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate is set to follow, alongside two patches. Mighty Eyes shared that these updates will provide “significant revisions to the height system, combat enhancements, and additional stability and performance upgrades.” More information regarding these upcoming updates and the DLC will be revealed next week.
This comes as welcome news after last week’s launch, as our review for the Quest version rated it 3 out of 5 stars, expressing mixed feelings. While we commended the “uniquely engaging” storyline and the “creative and satisfying” puzzles, we also pointed out substantial technical issues and “poor combat” as significant downsides.
Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate is currently available on the Meta Quest platform and PS VR2, with plans for a “coming soon” release on SteamVR.
