The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom presents a variation in entering the Lost Woods by introducing a unique way to get to Korok Forest. This blog post will provide you with a comprehensive guide on how to access the said location.
How to Get to Korok Forest in Tears of the Kingdom
The Great Hyrule Forest, located in the west of Death Mountain, hides Korok Forest deep inside the Lost Woods. The entrance is entangled in a mist that pushes you back if you try to brute-force it or fly from higher ground. To access the Korok Forest, you must enter it from the Depths.
The fastest way to make your way from the Depths to the underground version of Korok Forest, referred to as Korok Grove, is to enter the Minshi Grove Chasm in the overworld. Once you reach the Depths, locate the Poe souls that mark the way and head north through the forested area. Proceed ahead through the thicker forestation that leads to a wide ravine with the help of gliding. As you move ahead, there will be three Lightroots close to each other, and among them, Rikonasum Lightroot is your destination. You have to scale some moss-covered roots to activate it.
Once you activate Rikonasum Lightroot, you will see stairs leading up to a wide platform with torches burning at its four corners to the south. Stand near the platform’s center and use the Ascend ability to rise through the ceiling. After emerging, you will find yourself in Korok Forest. The next step is activating the nearby Musanokir Shrine to skip this process in the future.
