This weekend, I’ll be diving back into Persona 5 Royal. Despite sleeping on this game for a while, I now understand why it receives so much praise. The music, characters, voice acting, and gameplay are truly extraordinary. Additionally, I’m nearing the end of Rhythm Heaven Megamix on my 3DS, and I’m excited to wrap it up. It’s a silly little game that I’ve grown quite fond of. By the way, Nintendo, it would be fantastic if you released a Rhythm Heaven game on the Switch!

I’m still making progress in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on the Switch, although it’s a slow process at the moment. Hopefully, I’ll have a few hours to dedicate to it this weekend.
Over on the PS5, I’m currently playing through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. I have a genuine love for the Call of Duty campaigns, and the fourth entry in the series is particularly outstanding.

I’ve set aside some time this weekend to indulge in the Steam Deck. To add a twist to an old saying, the only remedy I need is more Master System games. It may finally be the weekend I conquer Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Lance after wrestling with it for over 25 years. If I manage to achieve that, I’ll continue my journey through the excellent Pikmin 4, which is an absolute gem of a game.

The Tech Priests have discovered some new blessings for WH40K Boltgun, including enchantments that grant infinite ammo for all weapons. This makes the game a fantastic way to relax and serve the Emperor. On the Nintendo 64, I’m revisiting WCW/nWo Revenge, showcasing the amazing work of AKI Corporation once again. I’m also playing through the Ace Combat games on PSP for some reason. By the way, Namco, why haven’t you released an Ace Combat game on the Switch? In addition, I’ve received a ton of physical Switch games, although I won’t have the time to play them just yet. My top recommendation for the week is Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, a fantastic new addition to an old favorite franchise.

My gaming time has been limited recently due to travel and vacation, but I’m still making progress in Pikmin 4, which is an absolute delight. I hadn’t realized how much I missed these adorable little creatures.
In the meantime, I’m slightly worried that I might come home from a new used games store this weekend with some exciting finds. The shelves are already overflowing, but who knows if I’ll be able to resist retro RPGs or special editions. Have a great weekend, everyone!
