As the holiday season approaches, new information is surfacing regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch bundle. While it may be centered around Mario Kart 8 Deluxe once again, this year’s bundle is rumored to feature the upgraded OLED model instead of the original system.
The reports from Dealabs indicate that the bundle will include a standard Switch OLED console in the neon red/neon blue color scheme. Fans hoping for a special edition unit may be disappointed.
As for the inclusion of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it is expected to be a download code bundled with the console, along with a three-month subscription to Switch Online. Retailer listings suggest that the price of the bundle will range from €310 to €349 (or the regional equivalent), and it is slated to launch in Europe during the second half of November.
Nintendo has already sold over 130 million units of the Switch worldwide. The introduction of the Switch OLED has certainly contributed to this impressive sales figure, offering features such as a 7-inch OLED display, a wide adjustable stand, 64 GB of internal storage, enhanced audio, and an upgraded dock with a wired LAN port.
While nothing has been officially confirmed at this time, we will keep you updated if there are any developments regarding this bundle.
