Most mods you will download will be a zip file that contains a folder and a “.mod” file. If this is the case, you just need to extract the folder and the mod file (both should have the same name) into your mod folder (in Documents).

After this, just open your Paradox Launcher and enable the mod using a playlist.

If you download the mod from Paradox Mods, you will probably only find a folder inside the zip file. This means that you will have to make the mod file.

As you can see in the image above, folders and mod files have the same name.

After you move the mod file, open it using Notepad and make sure that the path is “C:/Users/User/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod/” and then the folder of the mod.
