How does Hybrid Culture Work in Crusader Kings 3
If you have a culture in your territories different from your own in CK3, you can then create a hybrid culture between the two of them.
A hybrid culture in CK3 has the ability to choose what they like from both cultures and keep those things.
You can choose from all of these different categories:
- Ethos
- Heritage
- Language
- Martial Custom
- 6 Traditions
- Military Equipment
- Naming Practices
- Architecture
- Fashion
- Coats of Arms
You can only choose either to be similar to one of the two cultures in these categories or to have a combination of both.
For this hybrid culture, you will always be the Culture Head, which will allow you to choose what innovations you want to learn.
The two cultures that you combined will also be 100% accepted. This means that you won’t have any Popular Opinion debuffs in the provinces that have those cultures.
The last thing you will gain from this hybridization is the addition of innovations. You will get all the innovations the culture you are merging with has.
