If you’ve been playing Marvel’s Midnight Suns, then you’ve likely noticed that some plot points are left open-ended, with plenty of room for new characters and content. And, in the same vein, the Deadpool DLC introduces a separate arc involving Vampyres. Still, the developer has shared some intriguing info about an unlockable mission. Here’s what we know so far about the Marvel’s Midnight Suns special mission for the season pass characters.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Special Mission for Season Pass DLC Characters

Marvel’s Midnight Suns has four season pass characters: Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm. As mentioned earlier, the Deadpool DLC introduced Vampyres as a new enemy type. This will be followed by the Venom DLC, which comes out tomorrow, February 23. Now, you might think that each story is a standalone offering, separate and distinct from what’s going on in the game’s universe. However, during a recent developer livestream, it was revealed that there’s more in store.

At around 28:14 in the livestream, Rachel Sima, the game’s senior producer, cited that owners of the DLC characters can finish each hero’s story, which will then lead to a bonus mission. Joe Weinhoffer, the game’s lead designer, followed up by saying that this will act as the “narrative finale,” where the four DLC characters will team up. As of now, this is the only information we have regarding the Marvel’s Midnight Suns special mission for season pass characters. It’s not yet clear if the mission would immediately show up the moment the last character’s quest is done, if you still need to progress further in the main campaign, or if there are other requirements. Likewise, the fourth and final DLC character, Storm, won’t be out until much later.
