Many fans are having a blast with Diablo IV Early Access. While minimal content is available, there are enough features to keep the players happy and engaged throughout the weekend. Though some gamers are still grinding the dungeons and working on their collectibles, they should not forget that the Closed Beta won’t live much longer.
Closed Beta End Time
The current Beta run is scheduled to only last from March 17 to March 20. Servers will close in a few hours, so players only have half a day to get their things sorted. Here is the exact End Time for the current Beta:
Once the server closes, the game will not be accessible for a whole week, so players can log in and continue their progress during the downtime. Fortunately, the Early Access is set to return the following week.
Open Beta Start and End Time
The Open Beta is set to go live on March 24 to 27, with a 3-day uptime like the March 17 to 20 session. The next one will be open to everyone, so you can access the game even if you haven’t bought any pre-purchase packages. If you want to try out the game to see if you want to buy it, then this weekend is your chance to experience Diablo 4. Here is the start and end time for the following Early Access:
- March 24, 9:00 AM PST | 12:00 PM PST | 4:00 PM GMT
- March 27, 12:00 PM PST | 3:00 PM EST | 9:00 PM GMT
What Will Happen to My Progression?
If you have been playing since the March 17 session, you should not fret, as your progression will continue to the following weekend. Every character you have created and collectibles you have gathered will still be available in the next Open Beta. However, once the Early Access runs are finished, you should say goodbye to your progress permanently because they will not carry on to the actual Diablo IV game.
What Should You Expect from the Playtest
Since this is only an Early Access run, players should not expect too much content available. In addition, fans will likely encounter many issues and glitches, such as disconnection loops and long queues. However, there are enough features that gamers can try out so that they will have a clear understanding of what they should expect from the actual game. Here are some of the notable things during the Open Beta:
- Playable Campaign: Prologue to Act 1
- Playable Zones: Fractured Peaks
- Level Cap: Level 25
- Playable Classes: Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer (Druid and Necromancer will be available during the second Beta)
- Co-op Feature
- World Boss: Ashava
Players should note that these versions are not the finished product, and significant changes will occur between the current design and the final one. However, the available features will make it to the live version, but they might get some changes. If you plan to play during the Open Beta, report any bugs and suggest recommendations so that the devs can further improve Diablo IV.
