Resident Evil 4 remake: How to earn charms

Resident Evil 4 is one of the most critically acclaimed games of all-time, with its gameplay being a key factor as to why people love it so much. With the Resident Evil 4 remake, Capcom decided to once again up their game by improving upon an already great game as they did with other Resident Evil remakes. One of the ways they’re improving the game is by adding new features, one of these is the charms system. Charms are a way of increasing what you can do in the game, whether that’s a stat buff, or a simple vendor discount. If you’re wondering how to get them, here’s our guide on how to earn charms in the Resident Evil 4 remake.

How to earn charms in the Resident Evil 4 remake

It’s pretty easy to earn charms in the Resident Evil 4 remake. The first thing you’re going to need to do is unlock the shooting range, which you can do relatively early on in the game. The first elevator to the shooting range is available once you reach the third chapter of Resident Evil 4 remake, you should be able to see an elevator next to the Merchant’s shop by the lake. There are more elevators throughout the game, so don’t worry about backtracking if you haven’t found one yet.

You need to take this elevator to the shooting range, and here is where you can complete challenges to claim tokens. You can exchange the tokens you receive doing these challenges at the machine by the exit for charms. It’s a simple process in theory, but you’re going to need pretty decent aiming skills, some of those challenges aren’t easy.

There are two types of tokens in Resident Evil 4 remake, silver and gold. The more gold tokens you use, the higher chance you have of getting a rare charm, which have better effects. You can earn gold tokens through doing harder challenges, such as hitting every skull medal on the targets in the shooting range.

The charms you get are random, meaning you’ll need a little bit of luck to get the best charms in the game. You can also roll charms you already have, but sadly they don’t stack the effect. You can sell them to the Merchant however, so you can at least make some money off them.

Resident Evil 4 remake is available on Steam.
