Genshin Impact‘s premier Dendro healer is Baizhu, serving up medicine and protective shields for all of his allies while also providing some buffs. Baizhu is a 5-star Dendro healer and is the only Dendro healer in the game aside from Yaoyao, another 4-star character. This long-haired beauty was a popular character ever since his introduction two years ago. As the owner of the Bubu Pharmacy and caretaker of Qiqi, Baizhu has had a presence in the game since the start of the game. However, it wasn’t until Dendro was introduced to the game that he was actually a playable character. Now that Baizhu is out, we can craft a team around him and include him in all our future adventures. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide on the best Baizhu team comps.

Baizhu wields a Catalyst and can be summoned on the Limited Event Wish banner between May 2 and May 23. After this date, Baizhu won’t be available to summon until he receives a re-run banner. As a result, if you want Baizhu, it’s highly recommended to pull for him. Baizhu is joined by a 4-star roster of Candace, Fischl, and Kaveh, who can all uniquely take advantage of Baizhu is their own way. To best take advantage of Baizhu’s strengths in Genshin Impact, consider these team comps.

Genshin Impact: Baizhu best team comps

Baizhu’s main utility is as a defensive Dendro support character, providing heals, shields, and even some buffs for Dendro reactions. As such, he is best utilized in a team that takes advantage of reactions like Burgeon, Hyperbloom, Bloom, or Quicken. This means you probably won’t be running Baizhu as your main healer in other teams that exclude Dendro reactions. Here are some of Baizhu’s best team comps in Genshin Impact:

• Baizhu / Nahida / Kuki Shinobu / Xingqiu: This is a Hyperbloom team focused on dealing single-target damage to your foes. Baizhu is here as our driver, applying Dendro with his Normal Attacks. His shield, paired with Xingqiu’s rain swords, should ensure that Baizhu can withstand any hit. Kuki Shinobu provides extra healing and Electro application. If this is too much defensive utility for your liking, then you can consider replacing Xingqiu with Yelan or Kuki Shinobu with Fischl.
• Alhaitham / Baizhu / Kuki Shinobu / Xingqiu: This is a similar Hyperbloom team, except Baizhu is not the driver here. Alhaitham will be our main damage dealer, subbing out Nahida and her Dendro damage. Baizhu will provide heals, shields, and buffs for Alhaitham as he procs Hyperbloom with Kuki Shinobu and Xingqiu.
• Baizhu / Fischl / Beidou / Nahida: This is a Quicken team, as opposed to a Hyperbloom team. Quicken reactions, such as Aggravate, are still incredibly powerful. Baizhu provides solid Dendro application for Fischl and Beidou to deal good off-field damage. You can consider replacing Nahida for Alhaitham for more direct damage.
