With the popularity of HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail booming, fans are speculating on what’s to come. For now, this sci-fi strategy RPG is available on PC and mobile devices, but not consoles. Its main game Genshin Impact is available on PlayStation, so it’s fair to speculate on if its latest game will do the same. Honkai: Star Rail released on April 26 with enormous success, after reaching five million pre-registrations before the launch. It’s only available currently on PC, iOS, and Android devices. Since HoYoverse doesn’t have a history with Xbox, we can presume that if Honkai: Star Rail arrives on consoles, it’ll only be PlayStation. The Nintendo Switch is up in the air as well, since Genshin Impact hasn’t arrived on that console yet.

Luckily, we feel strongly that this game should be coming to PlayStation soon. We know for sure that this game is coming to PS4 and PS5 since PlayStation posted a YouTube trailer for Honkai: Star Rail. But when will it come to PlayStation consoles? You’re in luck, because it’s reportedly arriving very soon. This Tweet posted on May 5 revealed how someone found a leaked image of an advertisement for Honkai: Star Rail on PlayStation.

Version 1.1 is expected to release in June. Therefore, we can expect to see this advertisement officially release very soon. Although, it still says it’s coming soon, and doesn’t detail any dates. But it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to believe that version 1.2 could arrive alongside the PlayStation launch. Seeing as the time between updates seems to be around two months, it’s likely that Honkai: Star Rail could arrive on PlayStation consoles in Q3 2023.
