There are a plethora of new and exciting Shrines to discover in Tears of the Kingdom. They mimic the ones from Breath of the Wild, with there being puzzle and combat Shrines, but they’re completely new. One of the first Shrines you may find after leaving the Great Sky Island is the Jiosin Shrine, which includes a few tough puzzles. If you’re wondering how to solve Jiosin Shrine’s shape puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we’ll help you out.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to solve Jiosin Shrine shape puzzles

Finding Jiosin Shrine isn’t too difficult, it’s just south of Hyrule Field Chasm, which is south of Hyrule Castle and Lookout Landing. Once you’re inside, the main ability you’ll be using is Ultrahand. The first puzzle you’ll come across is having to lift a large stone shape through a wall. This is sort of like those baby toys with the shape cutouts and shape blocks. Although this time, they aren’t simple shapes.

You’ll first see an odd shape that needs to be pushed through an X-shaped hole. When looking at the ends of the shape, it looks like an X. Just turn the shape like the picture, so it can push right through the cutout. Once it’s in the next room, lay it flat across the open chasm so you can cross it like a bridge.

The next puzzle room has a shape that’s two cubes mashed together. Turn it twice vertically and horizontally so it fits the cutout like so. Now, you’ll need to fit it in the floor so you can reach the steps to grab a chest. You should only have to twist it horizontally to fit like this in the ground. From here, climb up and unlock the chest for a Hasty Elixir.

There’s another cutout to push the same shape through to the next area. Bring it towards the cutout, rotate it once vertically, then twice horizontally, and it should look like two diamonds from your angle. There’s one more step to finish this Shrine, which is making the shape into steps again.

Bring the shape towards the ledges, and twist it twice vertically away from Link. Now place it down, and you should be able to climb up to get your reward.
