In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can often throw a bunch of the same ingredient in a pot and cook it to generate a neat effect. Raw vegetables just don’t pack the same punch as the ones you’ve cooked in a pan over an open fire. However, you can get even more impressive results by blending ingredients before applying heat. Here is the Glazed Veggies recipe in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – Glazed Veggies recipe

As noted above, most cooked plants generate pretty decent effects all by themselves. For instance, cook five Armoranth at once to generate some Tough Fried Wild Greens that offer a midlevel defense boost lasting just over four minutes.

To produce Glazed Veggies, combine any plant or flower ingredient with Courser Bee Honey. Sticking with the Armoranth example, you might combine a single Amoranth with a bit of Courser Bee Honey. The somewhat disappointing result will be Glazed Veggies that restore 4 hearts. You don’t even get to enjoy the defense boost. The main reason you might want to make Glazed Veggies to give them to the Horse God Malanya. If all you need is a health boost, you can find other options that achieve that result more conveniently. For example, you might learn the Steamed Tomatoes recipe.

Unfortunately, the required Courser Bee Honey ingredient is somewhat uncommon. Farming it can be tricky. You need to find an active hive and risk the wrath of the local bee population. Hives seem to appear at random, but you can rely on finding them hanging for tree limbs. To build up your stock, you’ll need to spend a lot of time in forests.

Some forests you might try in your search for Courser Bee Honey include the Forest of Spirits to the south of the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower (see location on the above map), Finra Woods north of the Highland Stable, and Minshi Woods to the north of Woodland Stable. Wherever you go, listen for the faint buzzing of bees, provided you’re not busy tending to other local wildlife. A scavenger hunt is a small price to pay so you can produce your favorite Glazed Veggies recipes.
