Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ‘Progressing Smoothly’ According To Producer

Final Fantasy VII fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief as producer Yoshinori Kitase recently delivered an update on the progress of the much-awaited Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second chapter of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy of games. Kitase’s tweet confirms that game development is reportedly “progressing smoothly and according to plan.” 

The tweet also stated that the game’s release date is currently being finalized. While fans are eagerly waiting for an official release date, there is speculation that the game might make an appearance at the upcoming Summer Game Fest. Square Enix is one of the confirmed partners for the event, and it is possible that the team may reveal more details about the game.
