The RPG game Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, which is co-developed by Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, is now celebrating its first anniversary of its global release.
1st Anniversary Celebration Event
The game’s celebration event will enable players to collect coupons which they can redeem in exchange for rare in-game items, including equipment and familiars. Similarly, by checking into the game, players can stack their coupons to get Lucky Boxes or an in-game car.
Moreover, players can collect letters in-game through completing simple missions, such as defeating monsters or flipping coins. These letters can then be exchanged for special chests or summons. Those who receive all the rewards will be granted 10 miraculous warding doll selection chests.
New Features and Episode
The game has introduced Battle Style, a new feature that enables players to adjust their combat styles. With this, classes can switch their weapon styles at any given time, resulting in greater versatility and more efficient combat experience. Once they unlock the battle styles feature, they can also access another customisation feature known as Artifacts, that will be utilised to boost and enhance their combat stats.
Additionally, the game has re-introduced the Legendary Ancient Genie Episode, a favourite side story containing reworked special activities and dungeons that give players an advantage in getting stat upgrades.
A Global Success
The game received different awards after its release. In 2022, it was awarded the Google Play Best of Award for the Best Story in several countries, such as Brazil, Mexico, LATAM, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Aside from these awards, the game is expecting to receive massive revenues once it lands in China later this year. Considering it as the largest mobile market, it will likely result in a significant boost in the game’s popularity and sales.
