Discovering the Shrine of Resurrection was an exciting moment for Link in Breath of the Wild. Players returning to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be glad to know that they won’t have to wait long to explore the shrine again. While Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom has been tailored to a new, grander vision, the Shrine of Resurrection still exists in the same location.

Where to Find the Shrine of Resurrection in Tears of the Kingdom

In order to find the Shrine of Resurrection, players should head towards the Temple of Time. This location should look familiar since it was also home to the Shrine of Resurrection in Breath of the Wild. While it was situated high in the sky before, it is now located on flat ground.

Travel to the Great Plateau, located in the southeast from Outskirt Stable and northwest of Lake Hylia, to begin the search. If you have access to the Riogok Shrine, you can fast travel to it and reach the northwestern side of the plateau by heading east. However, be prepared to face Gloom Hands along the way.

Once at the Great Plateau, search for ruins that overlook the Temple of Time. Head northwest up the slope and along the hills to find the entrance to the Shrine of Resurrection. Keep in mind that you will briefly need armor or items that provide Cold Resistance to pass through some areas. However, it’s not necessary to change gear if you don’t want to; just move through quickly to avoid losing any life.

Upon entering the Shrine, you will encounter a Bubbulfrog. Defeat it to claim your Bubbul Gem and continue moving deeper into the cave. Restorative pools of water can heal your character if necessary. Keep descending into the cave until you find the Yiga hideout, where you will need to defeat three Yigas in battle. They will mostly attack with arrows, but you can tell where they will materialize next. Pick up any Arrows they fire that miss to replenish your supply. After defeating them, talk to the Construct to receive the Beam Cycle schematic.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
