Repairing Your Runecrafting Pouches in Old School RuneScape

As you continue to level up your Runecrafting skill, your pouches will begin to degrade since you’ll be using them more often. Runecrafting pouches can be acquired by defeating monsters in the Abyss or the Abyssal area. Before you can explore these locations, you’ll need to complete the Enter the Abyss quest.

Your pouches hold rune essence or pure essence that is necessary for Runecrafting. In case you don’t repair your pouches when they degrade, they will vanish entirely. Fortunately, you can repair them easily using the methods mentioned below.

Two Repair Methods for Runecrafting Pouches

There are primarily two ways to repair your Runecrafting pouches in Old School RuneScape – one within the Abyss and one from a distance without any risks.

Repairing From the Abyss

To repair your pouches, you’ll need to head into the Abyss. Remember that the pouches that are stashed in your bank can be repaired too. Here are the steps:

  1. Teleport to the center of Edgeville or walk until you reach the wilderness ditch.
  2. Enter the wilderness and head towards the northeast until you come across the Mage of Zamorak.
  3. Click on the Mage of Zamorak and select the “Teleport” option to be teleported to the Abyss.
  4. Stay on the east path while getting attacked by the swarming enemies until you reach eyes.
  5. Distract the eyes with your thieving skills and click on the tunnel located near them. You’ll be teleported to the other side of the wall.
  6. Head north until you find the entrance of the center of the Abyss. The dark mage will be inside, and you can choose the Repairs option after right-clicking on him. Your pouches will be repaired instantly.

Repairing By Using the NPC Contact Lunar Spell

If you want to avoid going to the Abyss, you can repair the pouches by contacting the dark mage through the use of the NPC Contact Lunar spell. Here’s how:

  1. Contact the dark mage through the NPC Contact Lunar spell.
  2. Complete the dialogue and ask for the repair option.
  3. The dark mage will repair all your pouches immediately.

Repairing your Runecrafting pouches using the NPC Contact Lunar spell is relatively quicker, and you also eliminate the risk of dying in the wilderness and losing everything. That’s how you can repair your Runecrafting pouches in Old School RuneScape!
