Where to find Uldur’s Cave in Diablo 4

Unlocking Uldur’s Cave in Diablo 4

When it comes to content, Diablo 4 is no slouch. With its abundance of quests, items, and areas to explore, players can spend months fully immersing themselves in its world. One of the many dungeons in the game is Uldur’s Cave, which offers the promise of loot and challenging enemies. While some dungeons are easy to find, Uldur’s Cave requires some extra effort. This guide will provide detailed directions on how to locate Uldur’s Cave in Diablo 4.

Locating Uldur’s Cave

Uldur’s Cave is situated in the Kehjistan region of the overworld map, specifically the Ragged Coastline area. It’s not directly on the coast but instead hidden within the vast cave system of western Kehjistan. The simplest way to reach this dungeon is to use the Iron Wolves Encampment Waypoint as a starting point. From there, travel southwest into the caves. For a visual representation of these directions, refer to the map provided above.

Unlike some dungeons in Diablo 4, there are no prerequisites for entering Uldur’s Cave. You don’t need to clear a Stronghold or progress in the Campaign to unlock it. Simply make your way to the dungeon. Although it’s easier to reach Uldur’s Cave with a Mount, you can access it right from the start of the game.

Exploring Uldur’s Cave

Once you’ve located Uldur’s Cave, you can begin exploring its depths. Unlike most dungeons in the game, Uldur’s Cave does not feature a final boss encounter, making it relatively easier to clear. The enemies you’ll encounter include Goatmen, Wild Beasts, and a large number of Bandits.

To complete the dungeon, you’ll need to defeat the Bandit Hideout’s Bandit Ringleader in a mini-boss battle. After this battle, Uldur’s Cave will be considered complete.

Rewards for Clearing Uldur’s Cave

Aside from the usual 30 Renown and random level-appropriate item drops, clearing Uldur’s Cave rewards players with the Aspect of the Damned. This Aspect is exclusive to the Necromancer class and increases the Shadow damage dealt to enemies afflicted by Decrepify or Iron Maiden by 30%. Necromancer characters utilizing a Shadow-based build will find this Aspect particularly valuable.
