During this event, we can expect a focus on Nintendo Switch titles that are set to launch later this year. It’s a prime opportunity for fans to get a sneak peek at what’s in store.

Confirmed Details: Pikmin 4 and More

In a recent tweet from Nintendo of America, it was revealed that there will be new details on the highly anticipated Pikmin 4. This is definitely a highlight for fans of the beloved franchise. But hold on, because that’s not all we can expect from the livestream. While specifics haven’t been disclosed, there’s hope for more exciting main titles to be revealed.

Other Anticipated Announcements

Aside from Pikmin 4, fans are eagerly anticipating more information about the new Sonic Frontiers update, which is rumored to be dropping on Sonic’s birthday, June 23. What better way to celebrate than with a thrilling update to the iconic franchise?

And that’s not all. Fans can also look forward to the appearance of Everbody 1-2-Switch!, Metroid Prime 4, and other classic retro games from the NES, Super NES, and Nintendo 64 era, with hopes that they will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service.

Third-Party Games on the Horizon

It’s worth mentioning that the Nintendo Direct won’t be exclusively focused on Nintendo games. Additionally, there’s a chance we might catch a glimpse of the highly anticipated Harry Potter RPG, Hogwarts Legacy. While not initially released on the Switch, the official Hogwarts Legacy website’s FAQ section lists the Nintendo Switch as one of the platforms available to play on.
