Dive into the Action with Crash Team Rumble on Xbox
The highly anticipated release of Crash Team Rumble is finally here! Available on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, players can now join the exhilarating 4v4 team-based rumble and compete against friends and foes online. The objective is simple – collect as much Wumpa fruit as possible while preventing the opposing team from reaching their Wumpa Bank. In true Crash Bandicoot fashion, each map is filled with danger, surprises, and challenging traps that will test players’ platforming skills.
Unique Combat Arenas with Relic Stations
The talented team at Toys For Bob has reimagined familiar Crash Bandicoot locales from previous games and transformed them into thrilling combat arenas. The highlight of each map is the unique Relic Stations that can be activated by teammates. These stations offer a variety of abilities that can either boost the player’s team or wreak havoc on their opponents. Activating a Relic Station requires collecting floating relics scattered around the map and depositing them at the station to unleash its power. Each map has different Relic Stations with wild and diverse abilities. For example, one map features stations that create mushrooms to slow and damage enemies without affecting allies. Another map includes a station that summons a deadly UFO or rains down meteors for devastating damage. It’s a race against time to see which team can activate the Relic Stations first by depositing enough Relics.
Introducing Serenity Gardens and Its Relic Stations
To provide players with a glimpse of the impact Relic Stations can have on a match, let’s take a closer look at Serenity Gardens – a never-before-seen map. Despite its peaceful appearance, this close-quarters map is brimming with chaos and N.Sanity. By activating the Akano Relic Station, teams gain access to a powerful spin attack that damages foes and knocks them away. Additionally, this vortex enables players to glide while jumping, providing a significant boost to both power and mobility. If opponents pose a threat to a team’s Wumpa Bank, equipping Akano will swiftly eliminate them. The map’s Epic Relic Station, the Big Bonsai, offers the chance to amass an abundant harvest of Wumpa fruit. Located at the heart of the map, activating this power creates a colossal tree laden with ripe Wumpa Stashes, each worth 100 Wumpa fruit. Any member of a team can pick up these golden fruits and bring them back to the Wumpa Bank for scoring. Even if a team is falling behind, a coordinated push to capture all the Wumpa Stashes on the tree can quickly turn the tide. However, players must be cautious as losing the Wumpa Stash to an opponent means it’s gone forever. Teamwork is crucial in blocking the opposing team from scoring and establishing a massive lead when they activate the Big Bonsai.
