Where to Find the Graveyard Detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ

If you’re diving into the new map in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, Vondel, you might come across a quest line that requires you to find Detonators scattered across the map. One of these Detonators can be found in the Graveyard. Here’s how to locate it.

To begin your search for the Graveyard Detonator, head to the circled location on the map. Once you arrive, you’ll encounter a prompt that confirms you’re in the right spot. Keep in mind that the Graveyard is usually heavily guarded by AI soldiers, so eliminate them before continuing your mission.

In my experience, the Detonator usually spawns on the floor of the wooden structure. However, it may vary for you. Keep an eye out for a white hue, which indicates interactable items. If you don’t find it in the Graveyard, you can exfil and retry, as the spawns are not fixed.

Tips for Surviving the Journey to the Detonator

Unfortunately, the Graveyard is a high-risk area due to its central location. Other Detonator locations, like the University, offer more safety as they are situated on the map’s edges. The Graveyard, on the other hand, is vulnerable to attacks from all directions, including occasional patrols by an Armored truck.

If possible, bring a teammate along for support while tackling missions in DMZ. If that’s not an option, take a cautious approach by navigating through buildings. Avoid the main street, as it exposes you to greater visibility and danger. Skilled players and teams often rush to the area to secure the Detonator before leaving. By taking your time, you increase the chances of arriving when the competition has moved on.

If you happen to get eliminated, remember that you can call for assistance from other players. Many players understand the advantage of working in larger teams and will likely revive you. Once revived, you’re not obligated to stick with your new acquaintances, but you can try to communicate and see if they’re willing to help. Even without a microphone, you can ping the Graveyard location to signal your intentions to other players.

Don’t be discouraged if you face setbacks. As you become more familiar with Vondel and its layout, completing Detonator quests will become easier over time.
