It looks like Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 will include MGS4

Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 Rumored to Include MGS4

After the official announcement of Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which is set to launch in October, rumors are already circulating about what Vol. 2 will contain. Twitter user Nitroid noticed some unusual buttons on Konami’s Metal Gear portal website, leading to speculation that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid 5 will be part of the second volume of the Master Collection.

IGN UK News Editor Wesley Yin-Poole, known for his reliability, states that the rumored lineup for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is accurate. This is exciting news for fans, especially since Metal Gear Solid 4 has only been available on the PS3 since its release in 2008. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 5 are more accessible on modern machines, including Xbox backward-compatible HD re-releases.

While the release of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 is still a while away, it’s unlikely that Konami will make any official announcements about a second volume anytime soon. For now, fans will have to look forward to Vol. 1, which includes multiple titles from the Metal Gear series and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Switch on October 24th.
