Slender Man, one of horror’s most iconic figures, is set to make a comeback. Developer Blue Isle Studios has dropped a hint about the supernatural being’s return, sparking excitement among fans. It has been a full decade since the release of Slender: The Arrival, and now the team seems ready to bring back the creepypasta mascot.
Slender Man originated as an internet urban legend in 2009 and has since appeared in numerous fan-made and indie horror games. However, his most prominent in-game appearances were in Slender: The Eight Pages (2012) and Slender: The Arrival (2013). Unfortunately, a highly-publicized stabbing incident and moral panic led to years of darkness for the fictional entity.
Now, it seems that Slender Man is ready to reemerge. A countdown has appeared on slenderarrival.com, leaving fans speculating about the possibility of a remake or remaster of The Arrival. The countdown will expire in 33 days (July 28, 2023). Excitement is building, and gamers are eagerly awaiting the reveal. Stay tuned!
