This collaboration between Lego and Sonic the Hedgehog is not the first of its kind. In 2021, Sega and Lego teamed up to create a set inspired by the iconic Green Hill Zone level. Earlier this year, the announcement of a new batch of Lego sets based on Sonic the Hedgehog was made.

Sonic Superstars is set to release both physically and digitally on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this fall. Players will have the opportunity to control Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose as they embark on thrilling adventures. Additionally, Eggman will be joined by Fang the Sniper, a character who first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble in 1994. Although Fang has mainly made cameo appearances in games like Sonic Generations and Sonic Mania, he will play a more prominent role in Sonic Superstars.
