Quincy is one of the three soul races players can become in Type Soul. Apart from Quincy, we have Soul Reaper and Hollow. Though all are good in their own accord, Quincy is suited best for beginners. When we first transform into one, we get access to cool powers and weapons that are capable of defeating monsters easily. Changing your race is hard in the earlier stage of the game, so if you are sure that this soul race is what you need, then here is how you go about it.

How to Become Quincy in Type Soul

To become a Quincy or any other soul race, you must first die. You can see your current species from the upper right corner. When you first spawn in the game, your race would be Human. And after you die, you become a Lost Soul. Then you need to find a tunnel near the garden in Karakura Town to start the journey.

Finding the Tunnel

• The tunnel has light blue tiles in the right corner and white tiles in the left part. You will easily recognize the tunnel, so search around and get near it.
• You can take a straight road to reach the tunnel, but if monsters are surrounding it, then walk from the garden and use the exit near the tunnel to sneak there.
• The portal is only active at 10 to 20 and 40 to 50 minutes of all hours, so if you enter the tunnel before it you will find nothing. For example, you will be able to enter from the portal between 10:10 to 10:20 and 10:40 to 10:50.

Becoming Quincy

• Once the portal is active, enter it. It will take you to the Wandanreich City of Type Soul, where you become Quincy.
• Now, look for this arch entrance and keep walking straight from there.
• After some time, you will see a Statue with a glowing sword.
• Get near that statue and answer “I Worship the King” to become Quincy.
