Morel’s passing was confirmed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the lead studio behind the game, through a statement on LinkedIn. Emile Morel joined Ubisoft in 2009 and his career included working on notable titles such as Rayman Legends and The Adventures of Tintin. He began his journey with Beyond Good and Evil 2 as an associate creative director, eventually earning a promotion to the role of creative director earlier this year, as reported by Kotaku. Prior to his time at Ubisoft, Morel contributed to projects like Test Drive Unlimited and the Alone in the Dark series during his tenure at Eden Games.
