Organizer software and website builder update

The development team behind Toornament has been hard at work since the release of the platform feature last May. They have made several updates to the tournament organization software and the website builder. Here are the main changes that have been implemented:

Tournament Software

The tournament software now allows you to add single or multiple choice selection fields to your player and team registration forms. You can create single choice questions with drop down lists or radio buttons, and multiple choice questions with checkbox lists. The configurations for these custom fields include options such as making them optional/required, public/private, and setting minimum and maximum expected answers.

Main Menu Update

The main menu in the tournament organizer software has been updated for improved usability and readability. The options that were previously accessible in the “Settings” section can now be directly accessed from the main menu, reducing the number of clicks required for configuration. Additionally, features available in the Pro, Site, or API plans are clearly indicated with a special badge.

Four New Disciplines Added

In June, Toornament added 4 new disciplines to its platform, allowing organizers to host competitions for Northgard, Street Fighter 6, Diablo IV, and iRacing.

Tournament Website Builder

The tournament website builder now supports multiple languages for competition websites and tournament platforms. Currently, Toornament offers support for English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish. Additional interface languages will be added in the future, with Arabic being the next in line.

New Tournament List Filters

When displaying a list of tournaments for a competition circuit, you can now filter the list by specific attributes such as season, region, or level. This allows for greater customization and the ability to create dedicated pages for each region or state of a competition.

Final Standing Block

Once a tournament is over, organizers can enter the final ranking in the Toornament organization software. This final ranking can then be displayed on websites or tournament platforms created with the website builder using a new dedicated block.
