The Need For Speed racing series continues to be highly esteemed even today, as it remains one of the most cherished racing games of all time. However, there appears to be a leak confirming the arrival of a remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, courtesy of a voice actor. Read on for all the available information.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake Leak
Electronic Arts and Criterion’s latest installment in the arcade racing series, Need For Speed Unbound, unfortunately fell short and received mixed reviews from critics. However, a few weeks ago, someone breathed new life into Need For Speed Underground 2 through a remake. Now, rumors of a remake of Need For Speed: Most Wanted have begun to circulate, and there is some positive news on this front.
An allegedly deleted tweet shared online has apparently confirmed the existence of a Most Wanted remake, according to a voice actress. Simone Bailly, who portrayed Sergeant Cross’s partner in the original game, stated, “Need For Speed: Most Wanted Remake is being released in 2024. LIKE and comment if you want to see Cross (Dean McKenzie) and his partner (Simone Bailly) hunt down the most wanted.”
Bailly has since removed the post, but the number of likes on Twitter indicates that fans are still hopeful. It is worth noting that there are two games with the title Need For Speed: Most Wanted – the first was released in 2005 on PS2, while the other arrived in 2012 on PS3. In this case, Bailly was referring to the first title, as she did not appear in the PS3 version.
For those unfamiliar with the game, it was an open-world racing title where police would pursue players across vast stretches of the map. It was widely regarded as one of the franchise’s best installments.
