Sega has unveiled the highly anticipated opening animation for Sonic Superstars, giving fans a taste of what’s to come in the game. Set to be released later this fall, Sonic Superstars offers a modernized 2D adventure experience with four-player co-op functionality. Players can choose to play as Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy as they embark on an exciting journey together.

The opening animation of Sonic Superstars evokes a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of Sonic CD. The vibrant blue skies and emerald green plains create a visually stunning backdrop. In the animation, Sonic swiftly dashes through enemies before joining forces with his trusted companion, Tails. The duo is soon joined by Knuckles and Amy, forming a formidable team ready to take on the villainous Eggman.
