The High on Life PS5 and PS4 ports now available on PlayStation

One of the great features of these ports is that buying one version entitles players to access the other version as well. While it seems that these ports do not include any new features or content, studio director Mike Fridley expressed his gratitude to PlayStation owners for their patience and support.
“The fans have spoken. And spoken. And spoken,” said Fridley. “We’ve been thrilled with High On Life’s reception since it launched in December. Our PlayStation fans have been slightly less thrilled, which is why we’re so excited to share that it’s coming their way very soon. Like now soon! Thank you for your patience!”
The release of this port was somewhat expected, as it was discovered in a patch update database earlier this week. Additionally, trophy lists for the game were also uploaded to platforms like Exophase and PSNProfiles the following day.
Squanch also revealed some details about High on Knife, the game’s first expansion. The expansion will be released simultaneously on all systems, ensuring that PlayStation players do not have to wait. IGN was given an extended preview of the DLC and interviewed two members from Squanch who discussed the upgrades for Knifey, new abilities, and the gun voiced by Sarah Sherman from Saturday Night Live that will be featured in the DLC.
Interestingly, the new port trailer released by Squanch does not include Justin Roiland’s name or voice. The trailer highlights 26 other voice actors instead. This may not come as a surprise, considering that news broke about Roiland’s arrest and the subsequent charges of felony domestic battery and false imprisonment. There were also reports suggesting that Roiland engaged in inappropriate behavior towards minors, harassed female colleagues, and was generally an inattentive worker. Although the criminal charges were later dismissed, Adult Swim and Squanch had already cut ties with Roiland. It’s worth noting that Roiland was not featured in the DLC’s trailer either.
