Unlocking the Locked Door in the Vault of the Formless in Remnant 2
If you’re playing Remnant 2 and find yourself in the Vault of the Formless dungeon on N’Erud, you may encounter a locked door blocking your path at the end of the dungeon. Don’t worry, you’re not alone in this predicament. Fortunately, there is a way to open that door and claim your well-deserved reward in the form of a new weapon. Here’s a guide on how to unlock the locked door in the Vault of the Formless in Remnant 2.
Finding the House Lythla Glyph
To open the locked door, you’ll need a House Lythla Glyph, which functions as a key. The Vault of the Formless provides a clue earlier in the dungeon, as there is another locked door that requires the same glyph to open. Your task now is to locate this glyph, and to do so, you should return to the penultimate room of the dungeon, where spinning pillars are present.
Understanding the Spinning Pillars
The spinning pillars hold the key to finding the House Lythla Glyph. While you can disregard the first spinning pillar, take note of the second one. Wait for the opening of the second spinning pillar and step inside. However, instead of proceeding like normal, remain inside the pillar and wait for it to fully rotate. Doing so will reveal a secret path leading to the glyph.
Unlocking the Door and Obtaining the Rupture Cannon
Once you have acquired the House Lythla Glyph, return to the locked door in Remnant 2’s Vault of the Formless. Use the glyph as a key to open the door and claim your reward—a powerful new weapon called the Rupture Cannon. This weapon combines the functionalities of a pistol, shotgun, and alien technology, making it ideal for close-quarters combat. However, it may not be as effective against long-range foes. Consider checking your Archetype’s favored weapons to determine if the Rupture Cannon aligns with your build.
