Terrible Posture Games Collaborates with Jill Murray and Rossi Gifford for Invincible Presents: Atom Eve

Terrible Posture Games has joined forces with Jill Murray and Rossi Gifford to develop Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, a visual novel RPG based on the popular Invincible comic books and animated series. Known for their work on The Walking Dead: Last Mile and Mothergunship, Terrible Posture Games teams up with creative director Jill Murray, who has an impressive background as a narrative lead in games like Boyfriend Dungeon, and art director Rossi Gifford, formerly a character designer at Riot Games and Marvel.

Expected to release on PC in 2023, this game expands the universe of Invincible and allows players to assume the role of Atom Eve and her alter ego, Samantha Eve Wilkins. Balancing the duties of a superhero with the challenges of everyday life, players will make decisions that shape Atom Eve’s relationships and determine the outcome of her story.

Invincible Presents: Atom Eve offers multiple paths for players to take, each with its own impact on gameplay. Some paths focus on enhancing Eve’s power, while others unlock special combat skills or unique dialogue options, ensuring that each playthrough feels distinct. The game’s branching narrative ensures a personalized experience that caters to individual player preferences.

In the official announcement trailer, viewers are treated to a glimpse of the vibrant, comic-inspired world and a brief introduction to the game’s light, turn-based combat system and visual novel-style character interaction. You can watch the full trailer below.

Robert Kirkman, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Skybound Entertainment, commented, “I love this game for its fresh spin on the original comic’s artwork and style. Terrible Posture Games, Jill Murray, and Rossi Gifford do an incredible job of bringing 20 years of Invincible to new life in a game that really looks and feels like a comic book.”
