Unlocking Oswald in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley fans have been delighted to see the unexpected appearance of Oswald, a classic character from Disney’s past, in the game. However, unlocking Oswald is not a simple task and requires owning the A Rift in Time expansion. Here’s how you can befriend this iconic character:

Progress Through A Rift in Time

To unlock Oswald, you first need to progress through the A Rift in Time expansion until you reach Act II: The Spark of Imagination. At this point, Merlin will offer you a new quest called “The Sunken Ruins,” which will lead you to the next step of the journey.

Complete “The Sunken Ruins” Quest

Upon accepting the quest, you will embark on a series of challenging tasks involving Gaston, Rapunzel, and EVE. These quests will eventually lead you to the Ancient Ruins where you will finally meet Oswald at the bottom of the ruins.

Repair the Bridge Lever

Once you’ve located Oswald, you’ll need to help him by repairing the bridge lever. To do this, you must find a loud trumpet near Oswald, scare an Exclamation Point out of him, and place it in the slot to interact with the lever and create a bridge.

Continue the Quest with Oswald

Proceed with Oswald through the ruins, collecting items and crafting tools to assist him in his tasks. Follow his instructions, collect necessary resources, and complete various challenges to progress through the quest.

Complete Oswald’s Many Dimensions Quest

Once you have completed all the necessary tasks, Oswald will offer you his own quest called “Oswald’s Many Dimensions.” Follow his instructions, gather the required materials to craft his Oswaldian Pencil, and help him draw his home in your valley.

Complete the Home and Welcome Oswald

After completing Oswald’s house, equip your 3D Glasses, interact with the sign, and finalize the construction of his home. This will mark the completion of the quest and welcome Oswald as a permanent member of your valley!
