Red Dead Redemption PS4 Release Date Confirmed by Rockstar Games
Rockstar Games has officially announced the release date for Red Dead Redemption on PS4. This highly anticipated version of the game, known as Rockstar Games Presents, will also include the Undead Nightmare DLC expansion. Fans won’t have to wait long, as the digital release is scheduled for August 17, with a physical edition hitting retailers on October 13. Both versions will be priced at $49.99.
Playing Red Dead Redemption on PS5 and Nintendo Switch
Although a native PS5 version is not in the works, players with PlayStation 5 consoles will still be able to enjoy the game through backward compatibility. Additionally, Red Dead Redemption will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch. However, there is no news regarding a port for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, most likely due to the fact that the Xbox 360 version is already playable on those consoles thanks to backward compatibility. Unfortunately, this means there won’t be a complete remaster of the game.
What’s Included in the Red Dead Redemption PS4 Version?
As for the game’s expansions, Rockstar Games has not confirmed whether additions such as Outlaws to the End, Liars and Cheats, and Legends and Killers will be included alongside Undead Nightmare. According to the official press release, since this is a single-player adventure, there will be no multiplayer in this port. However, players can expect support for new languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Latin American Spanish.
