How to Obtain the Noblestalk in Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 offers various optional quests for players to complete, each with its own set of rewards. One such quest is “Find the Mushroom Picker,” which not only provides valuable loot, armor, and weapons but also offers character development opportunities. This guide will walk you through how to obtain the Noblestalk in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Step 1: Journey to the Underdark

The first step in obtaining the Noblestalk in Baldur’s Gate 3 is to venture into the Underdark. On the map below, you’ll find the specific location you need to reach. This area is filled with mushrooms that release poisonous clouds when destroyed. Be cautious, as there is a lit torch nearby that can cause the mushrooms to explode if damaged or approached too closely. Fortunately, there is an individual trapped amidst the mushrooms who will provide further explanation.

Step 2: Save the Trapped Individual

Engage in conversation with the trapped individual. If you possess a scroll of Misty Step, you can immediately free them by giving it to them. Once freed, follow the next step to save the Noblestalk from being destroyed.

Step 3: Extinguish the Torch

To prevent the Noblestalk from disappearing due to the exploding poisonous clouds, you will need to extinguish the nearby torch. Obtain water and jump towards the left side of the mushroom field as shown below. You can either use the Create Water spell or throw a water bottle at the torch to put out the flame.

Step 4: Loot and Free the Trapped Individual

After extinguishing the torch, you can descend and loot the trapped individual’s bag, which contains a scroll of Misty Step. Give the scroll to the trapped individual, allowing them to escape. Completing this step will grant you a Noblestalk in Baldur’s Gate 3.

What to Do with the Noblestalk

Once you have obtained the Noblestalk, you have several options for its usage. One option is to give it to Shadowheart, which contributes to her questline and character development. Alternatively, you can give it to either Baelen or Derryth Bonecloak. The choice is yours!
