Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Interact with the Addled Frog
Baldur’s Gate 3 offers numerous side activities to explore in the vast world created by Larian. One such activity is a questline located in the swamp area of Act 1. During this questline, players will encounter Auntie Ethel, an evil character who can be confronted. After leaving this area, players may come across the Addled Frog, an easily noticeable creature. This guide will show you how to interact with the Addled Frog in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Locating the Addled Frog
To find the Addled Frog in Baldur’s Gate 3, head outside Auntie Ethel’s house and take the path opposite the entrance. What initially seemed like the way out of the swamp led me to this intriguing little creature. Upon approaching the Addled Frog, basic interaction will not yield much. To effectively communicate with the frog, you must cast the Speak with Animals spell.
If you engage in conversation with the Addled Frog after defeating Auntie Ethel, the frog will express great delight in the eradication of evil from the area. It will then guide you to a specific location where hidden treasure awaits. However, be warned that during my playthrough, the frog did not immediately lead me to the treasure, causing a delay of about 5 minutes. You may encounter this as well. It is also possible to engage in a challenging fight with the Addled Frog in Baldur’s Gate 3. I recommend preparing adequately before attempting this battle.
