Tencent Subsidiary MoreFun Studios Achieves 80 Million Registered Users Milestone for Arena Breakout

Tencent subsidiary MoreFun Studios has reached a major milestone with its mobile game Arena Breakout, surpassing 80 million registered users. This accomplishment highlights the growing demand for console-like gaming experiences on portable devices.

Season 2 Update: Battle for the Port

MoreFun Studios has also announced the release of the Season 2 update for Arena Breakout, titled Battle for the Port. This update introduces new firearms, a new map, and a new game mode called Storm Warning. It is the first of many new seasons planned for the game.

Since its launch in July 2023, Arena Breakout has achieved tremendous success, quickly rising to the top of both the App Store and Google Play charts within eight hours. It held the number one position on the iOS free list in over 100 countries and regions, proving its worldwide popularity.

Offering a Hardcore Shooter Experience

Arena Breakout is known for its hardcore shooter gameplay, aiming to provide a PC-like gaming experience on mobile devices similar to titles like Escape from Tarkov. This approach has garnered a dedicated fanbase for the game and led us to name it Mobile Game of the Week.

According to the official description of the game, players will enter the war-torn no man’s land of Kamona, where they must scavenge for resources while fending off other operatives, squads, militants, and scavengers. The game emphasizes building and modifying realistic guns, healing wounds, and managing ammunition, creating a high-risk, winner-takes-all dynamic.
