Baldur’s Gate 3: Unleashing the Slayer Form
The Slayer Form in Baldur’s Gate 3 adds a dark and twisted element to the game, exclusively available to characters who embrace evil through the Dark Urge Origin. This unique feature allows players to fully embody a murderous persona, reflecting the choices made throughout the gameplay.
Obtaining the Slayer Form
Unlocking the Slayer Form in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a relatively straightforward process. However, it requires players to progress through the Dark Urge storyline. During the game, when your character’s murderous inclinations begin to surface, it is important to follow through with them. Eventually, you will encounter a character named Sceleritas Vel at your camp. Sceleritas Vel rewards you for your dark deeds with the Deathstalker Mantle.
In order to progress the Dark Urge storyline and unlock the Slayer Form, players must reach Act 2. During this phase, a crucial encounter takes place at the Last Light Inn with a character named Isobel. It is vital to save Isobel from capture, despite the apparent contradiction to your overall objective.
Once Isobel is saved, Sceleritas Vel reappears and orders you to kill her. It is important to note that this decision will abandon the safety of the Last Light Inn. The barrier protecting the area from the Shadowlands Curse will vanish, turning most of the inhabitants into zombies. To protect yourself from the curse, it is recommended to acquire a Moon Lantern beforehand.
After Isobel’s demise, return to your camp and perform a Long Rest. Sceleritas Vel will reappear and grant you the Slayer Form in Baldur’s Gate 3. On assuming this form, your character transforms into a formidable brute with increased HP and devastating attacks. Remember, embracing evil actions is the essence of an evil playthrough.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available on PC.
