Holstin Is A Survival Horror Game Set In The ’90s With A Unique Shooter Twist

New Horror Game ‘Holstin’ Reveals Unique Gameplay Mechanics in New Trailer

Newcomer studio Sonka has unveiled an exciting gameplay trailer for its highly anticipated horror game, Holstin. In addition to the trailer, the studio has announced that a demo of the game is now available on Steam.

The recently released trailer provides a glimpse into the game’s eerie atmosphere, nostalgic visual style, and grotesque zombie-like creatures that have infested the fictional town of Holstin, set in 1990s Poland. Notably, the trailer showcases gameplay mechanics that allow players to experience the game from two different perspectives – isometric, third-person shooter akin to last year’s Signalis, and over-the-shoulder, third-person shooter reminiscent of Capcom’s acclaimed Resident Evil remakes.

Experience the Chilling Gameplay Reveal for Holstin

“A psychological survival horror game set in an eerie, isolated 90’s Polish town consumed by an ominous presence,” describes the Steam page for Holstin. “You’ve arrived in search of answers, only to find that everyone is plagued by something sinister. Explore the decaying town, interrogate the locals, and confront nightmarish manifestations to uncover the truth.”

Although an official release date for Holstin has yet to be announced, players can experience the game firsthand by trying out the demo currently available on Steam.

Holstin is scheduled to launch on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC in the future.
