Borderlands 3 Arrives on Nintendo Switch with the Ultimate Edition

After a four-year wait, Borderlands 3 is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch. The highly anticipated game, which originally launched on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, will be available on the Switch starting from October 6. Fans of the series have been eagerly requesting the release on the console, especially since all the other mainline Borderlands games are already playable on the Switch. Developer Gearbox Software has heeded their call and is delivering the Ultimate Edition of Borderlands 3, including all six content add-ons and a collection of bonus cosmetic packs.

What’s Included in the Ultimate Edition of Borderlands 3

  • Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot add-on
  • Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock add-on
  • Bounty of Blood add-on
  • Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck add-on
  • Designer’s Cut add-on, featuring the “Arms Race” mode, additional skill trees for each Vault Hunter, a new raid boss, new story missions, behind-the-scenes extras, and three Vault Cards
  • All four Multiverse Final Form cosmetic packs
  • All four Multiverse Disciples of the Vault cosmetic packs
  • Butt Stallion Pack, which includes a weapon skin, trinket, and the Butt Stallion grenade mod
  • Retro Cosmetic Pack, which includes a Vault Hunter skin, ECHO device skin, and a trinket
  • Neon Cosmetic Pack, which includes a weapon skin and a trinket
  • Gearbox Cosmetic Pack, which includes a weapon skin and a trinket
  • Toy Box Weapon Pack, which includes two toy guns, a toy grenade mod, and a trinket
  • Equippable XP and Loot Drop Boost Mods

Furthermore, Gearbox is offering a physical version of Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, and preorders are now available.
